MAELSTROM centers around improving six applications of the Weather and Science Domain which are using Machine Learning for their simulations. A common workflow is created which enables the applications on HPC infrastructure.
Our mission in MAELSTROM is to assess hardware utilization by the applications and improve it. In the end, we will give a recommendation of an ideal hardware design for ML-enabled W&C applications of the MAELSTROM’s kind.
