The BMBF-funded project MExMeMo revolves around two polymer simulation applications utilizing different scales. A continuum simulation, which considers grand scales, is augmented with a physically detailed simulation running on GPUs. The project utilizes and extends the Modular Supercomputing Architecture concept, using different supercomputer modules for execution. The simulations are verified with real-world experiments.
The project is funded in the SCALEXA funding call of BMBF.
